A couple of notes from Monday's matchups while we were falling asleep in front of that game in Cleveland



- the Yanx and Clay Holmes, up 4-1 after 8, coughed up four in top 9 to the Mariners and the M's hung on to win.

It snapped the Yanx winning streak at seven and those were the first earned run allowed this year by closer Holmes

in 21 appearances / 21 innings.



- the Braves split a pair vs SDP but lost Game 1 despite holding a 5-1 lead after 6

Set-up man Joe Jimenez was the chief culprit.



- Boston 3B Rafael Devers HR'd for the sixth straight game.
