Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 The Mets were as good as anybody, and then I got hurt. Nineteen months later, neither I nor the Mets haven't really been that good.I don't want to suggest that the world revolves around me. Coincidence isn't necessarily correlation, and correlation isn't necessarily causality. But it's hard for me to imagine a world where I'm as good as I used to be, but the Mets in general stink. A star Starling in Queens means a winning team in the same place. Or so goes the logic. But again, it's spotty logic, and it's very broad picture. Perhaps you see the specifics more clearly, and can tell me how my 2024 is going to play out, and if the Mets' fortunes really are so closely linked.
