I think both also came up directly from AA.Murphy prospered, but Evans not so much. I seem to recall, though, that when the Citi Field outfield walls were first in place during the last season at Shea, the Mets invited three players over to take batting practice and perhaps help the organization get an early feel on the park. Those three were David Wright, Daniel Murphy, and Nick Evans.
