Joe Hicks, who hit 5 homers for the 1963 Mets, has died in Charlottesville, Va., on December 2 at age 91.

Baseball-Reference pegs his birthdate as April 7, 1933, which would make him 90 at the time of his passing, but Hicks's obit says 91.

He was the fourth-oldest living Met, and one of only four living nonagenarians. (The remaining three are Willie Mays, Jim Marshall, and George Altman.)



With Hicks' death, Cliff Cook moves into the top ten, Larry Elliot into the top twenty, and Larry Stahl into the top forty.
