After consulting with organizational physicians, the Mets have elected to undergo a pitching reparation procedure, having T.J. McFarland extracted from their Syracuse farm club and surgically implanted into their bullpen, several outlets are reporting.



Lefthander Josh Walker, who sadly lived up to his last name, is to be sent in the other direction.
