bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 The Mets new bullpen coach. He's worked for Buck before and is someone for Buck to swap stories with over a swig. (He's my age, I thought he was 10 years older.) Click on the last link. He'll be the first one out of the bullpen during a fight.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dom_Chitihttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dom_Chitihttps://twitter.com/EthanBriggs_88/status/1605284563546251264https://brobible.com/sports/article/dom-chiti-suspended-angels-mariners-brawl/https://brobible.com/sports/article/dom-chiti-suspended-angels-mariners-brawl/

He is the son of 1962 Met Harry Chiti, who, as legends frames it, was traded for himself. Dom Chiti has been a coach and front office guy for many years (he was on Buck's staff in Baltimore) but had escaped my notice until tonight.
