Mets have signed pitcher Rob Whalen, who was a draftee of theirs, traded to ATL in the Johnson-Uribe deal and since had a cups of coffee with the Braves and Mariners.



Most recently he announced he was retiring after struggling with depression so I guess he changed his mind.
