In addition to the oddity of teams having an off day on July 4, four teams are off today -- on a Friday -- including, for whatever reason, both Chicago teams and both Ohio teams.

The league has to squeeze in mandatory off-days but with the All-Star break at hand this, days off on July 4 and 5, is idiotic. Well done Manfred (it's his office, he's accountable).
