DocTee Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 beautifully remastered archival footage.excellent use of the actual soldiers to tell the story.that said, here's two hours summed up in five-ish sentences:"I was excited when the war began and I'm glad I went-- could never live with myself if I hadn't. But once we left England, things changed. Long spells of tedium, punctuated by ferocious battles. And the enemy was just like us. The war wasn't worth it-- it rarely is."
