I found it strange that the Newsday cover doesn't include the significant news that Cespedes' return from the DL would only last one day.

The covers from the other two tabloids tell a fuller story. It's why I was one of the few who preferred WHAT THE HEEL!

This was a battle between Yoenis Cespedes, who appeared on the champion covers in 2015 and 2016, and Noah Syndergaard, who was on 2017's winning cover.

Cepedes prevails, and the last remaining Syndergaard cover from this year steps aside. So it's success for SUCCESS but nothing doing for YOU NOAH NOTHING!

I believe our Barker's Beauties are at the site of the Parkmark on 125th street in Harlem.

Fun Fact: That store was considered groundbreaking when it first opened (1999) as very few "corporate" retailers would ever intentionally enter a poor/black/hispanic neighborhood before then. But it did so well it helped opened the floodgates and as Harlem subsequently gentrified it fell out of favor itself. It has been a closed blight now for years!
