bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Author Posted September 9, 2018 2 days in a row that a Mets been hit but that's a matter for the top of the 1st tomorrow. Finish 'em off tonight.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 That defense against Conforto was boochit. Him striking out on ball four was super-boochit.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 When Carlos Santana comes to bat in Atlanta, I wonder if the organist there plays the opening strains of 'Black Magic Woman'?
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Four walks and three strikeouts through five innings, but only 67 pitches for Noah.Interesting to see how long he can go.Later

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Can you imagine how good Syndergaard will be if he can get his focus down?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 MLB Gameday just ran that Kaepernick ad. I feel like I gotta burn something.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 It's like somebody told the Phils' outfielders, "It's a wet field in spring training — don't run hard."

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Author Posted September 9, 2018 (edited) Should have listened to me. No point in sending him out for the 7th up 7. Mickey can be an idiot. And now he might be hurt in an inning when he was sent out up 7 runs, then was struggling and over a 100 pitches. With about 10 guys in the bullpen. Edited September 9, 2018 by Guest
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Well, that hurt me back at home. Hang tough, Syndergaard.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Mets are being out-hit in this game 12-10 thru 7
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 The defense is the difference. And that's saying something.
Guest 41Forever Guests Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Was listening in the car and the guys in the booth made the Syndergaard thing sound horrible. So much so that I pulled over to look at the video -- which didn't look as bad as it sounded. But I'm sure that will leave a mark.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Author Posted September 9, 2018 The Mets OF private handshake ritual is wonderful. That game was only 3:12?
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Gsellman is showing he's a true closer. They don't pitch well when they come in with a big lead.Libros, though.Later
