  7. Darryl Strawberry and Doc Gooden with the drugs.
  8. Hard to believe he was 83.
  9. Who led the MLB in batting average among batters with 100+ at-bats? Jose Iglesias.
  10. Meh. 89 wins. It's not 90. Oh well, we're going to the postseason. See ya in Milwaukee!
  11. Iglesias' hitting streak continues!
  12. I kind of wish they weren't just going through the motions in this game.
  13. Brazobummer. But it ain't over 'til it's over.
  14. Now they got something cooking...again. Let's score 10.
  15. LOL, pretty confident for a guy who didn't "have it" in the 8th.
  16. Holmes signed an autograph through the Las Vegas Aviators for me in 2021.
  17. Winker did enough to engrain himself in Mets history earlier in the season with that killer walk-off he had against Baltimore on August 21. It was that exact moment that the Mets became a playoff team in my eyes.
  18. Not to brag, but I predicted 91-71.
  19. A win here makes the Mets a 90-win team. You know what happened the last time a Mets team won exactly 90 games? They went to the World Series.
  20. Just remember, they were not even expected to be a winning team this year. ESPN projected a record of 79-83. NY Times projected a 79-83 record. The Sporting News projected a 79-83 record. Yet here we are.
