  2. Which cheek was it Edgy?
  3. I don't know that there are many times where someone has said "If Omar said it, it must be true" or something along those lines. It's a lot easier to call people "kool-aid drinkers" without using actual words that they posted.
  4. I couldn't find the thread I started called "Our Favorite Videos" or some such that had Wright's catch. If it's gone we could use this thread for clips and videos.

  6. seawolf17 wrote: ="Yancy Street Gang"]Two outs, runner on first. Batter grounds into a force out. There's one man left on base. It shouldn't matter (as far as LOB statistics go) whether the play was at second base or at first, it's still an LOB. No it isn't. The batter did not reach first base, so how could he be left there? Technically, he did reach first base.
  7. Nope. He said he did have one in strat-o-matic "where you roll dice".
  8. Hey! Stealing it and pretending it was my idea was my idea!!!
  9. ]The great part about this is that no matter what our position, anything Omar says always corroborates our ideas. Which is why arguing over a quote is so stupid.
  10. You can't see it, but I'm shaking my head in astonishment.
  11. 1) I use only the one column for the entire inning (unless they bat around), just go to the top of it when the leadoff guy comes up.
  12. Centerfield wrote: ="HahnSolo"] - Strike 3 on Matsui. From the replay it looked a little high, but clearly too close to take. Was the ump calling the high strike all game? I should note that on the radio Howie did not make a big deal about it being a bad call, I think he just said it was up in the zone. I disagree. It was clearly high. If Matsui had swung at it, he would be getting skewered for swinging at Ball 4. Matsui will get skewered no matter what he does.
  13. Billy Beane said today (or maybe yesterday), for the 1,085,454,356th time by my count, that there is no way Zito gets traded.
  14. Um.... What?
  15. Your new avatar says it perfectly, Yancy. Edit: First Tommie Agee post.
  16. Fifty is fine by me too. Especially if it's a suspension without pay.
  17. ]It was such a bad call even the Baseball Tonight guys commented about it You know you're a bad ump when those clowns get it right and you don't.
  18. Will it be 122 after Thursday's game??? Time will tell.
  19. Love the comparison between high school softball and MLB. Those are always valid.
  20. I thought the rags tired of this in ST. A) No one wants Matsui, or will want him. The Mets don't have another second baseman. (Giving Keppinger an in-season tryout doesn't count, and probably wouldn't work, just like it didn't work for Andy or Cairo) Slow news day.
  21. Rotblatt wrote: In other words, arguing about this seems like a lose-lose for everyone. Which is why it's rarely brought up by the majority of posters.
  22. Poor Trachsel.
