1. I'm trying to keep track of this thread. It's the first time I'm playing. I'm getting confused. Lol #1 Todd Hundley??? And I see a picture of Fonzie, but I'm getting confused with all the different numbers 🤣
2. An 80s rock show? I'm in! That sounds great! "Fascination," "Mirror Man," "The Lebanon," - all great tunes! I love this gem, which came out a little later: "Heart Like a Wheel." No Trevor Rogers for the Mets. He's an Oriole. So far the pundits are flailing miserably. Thanks! Excellent choices played them on my show. Heart Like a Wheel is a top tune. Haven't heard it in ages! As for tonight's game, Manaea makes me nervous 😬 Edgward I'm all for a HL poll!
3. =kcmets post_id=164686 time=1722366875 user_id=53] While we await lineups and colossal Mets trade news... this is about how far I can tolerate the band. But this is worth drowning a worm on from time to time... ...the play this and Fascination all the time in ShopRite.
4. Minneapolis musicians of the day are the producing duo of Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. They did a lot of things with Janet Jackson. But my fave is "Human" by the Human League. Jame and Lewis wrote and produced the song after they were brought on board when the band was slumping. It went to No. 1. I like the Human League and this is my favorite from their catalog. The Stereogum guy doesn't like it much. But I don't always agree with his opinions. Human did help put Human League on the map. It's a good track but some lesser known songs I prefer such as Fascination and Electric Dreams. PS..I am a DJ with an 80's rock show 😉 LGM!
5. Huge Tim Burton fan. Loved it and mainly because of the brilliant Sylvia Sidney. 8 from me!
6. $10! Sounds about right though. As a kid I got them from Caldors for $2 lol
7. "We went to the [emergency room], got CT scan, an EKG, all the tests that we could think of to find out what this might be," Nimmo said, adding that the conclusion of what most likely happened was his blood pressure spiking as a reaction to the cramp and he fainted.
8. How much are pretzels going for these days if this a sale price 😳 I've only been to CF once and that was 5 years ago! https://pix11.com/sports/mlb/mets/mets-offering-5-menu-items-one-day-a-week-heres-what-you-can-get/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR3hXQCLZPHzatgJcmtaCLUA2-_JbDh_4LurKyF_5qvXuZXWJV5i7nfgBDQ_aem_6QgVdXEUgLOk3qDdGf4Hawhttps://pix11.com/sports/mlb/mets/mets-offering-5-menu-items-one-day-a-week-heres-what-you-can-get/?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR3hXQCLZPHzatgJcmtaCLUA2-_JbDh_4LurKyF_5qvXuZXWJV5i7nfgBDQ_aem_6QgVdXEUgLOk3qDdGf4Haw
9. A friend sent me this in a Facebook message today 🤢👿 Ps…not sure if this belongs in the baseball forum…
10. Hey Frayed! 👋 Edgward had to let me in and briefly logged in as me. I'm just grateful he didn't change my avatar to something dreadful like Bobby Bonilla or Celine Dion 😂
11. Willie is the reason I became a Met fan. My dad was a diehard Yankee fan and was raising me to be one too. Then one day I went and watched TV with my brother. He was a diehard Mets fan. I was seven years old and I saw Willie Mays play and I dropped the Yuckees in a heartbeat!
12. Stopping in to say hello. It feels strange to watch baseball now. LGM
13. Edgy MD wrote: Link? Where classick horror meets pop-punk meets baseball? LOL! I'll send you the link. And btw my 80's radio show is starting very soon and I'll definitely be playing some Ramones
14. LOL at some of these remarks as I now have a podcast Haven't done any baseball on it yet though that will be in the future. Not sure if I'll be covering baseball weekly though.
15. =G-Fafif post_id=15146 time=1562360439 user_id=55] Hopefully you'll visit the HOF/Museum while Felix Milan and Jack Fisher are there signing autographs.
16. Thanks everyone for the suggestions! Stuck in traffic but almost there
17. Tomorrow night my brother is taking me to Citi Field as an early birthday gift and it will be my first time there. Anything I should be sure to check out besides the Hall of Fame and Museum?
18. Thanks Frayed. Edgy I have a no trade clause so that's a no go

(CBSNewYork/AP) — A judge has dropped drug and terroristic threat charges filed against former Major League baseball player Lenny Dykstra in connection to altercation with an Uber driver. A judge dismissed the charges Friday after Dykstra pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was fined $125. Dykstra says he is “happy this chapter of my life is behind me.” The three-time All-Star, who was a member of the New York Mets' 1986 championship team, said the driver tried to kidnap him after he asked to change the trip's destination. The driver told police Dykstra held a gun to his head, though no weapon was found. The driver tells NJ.com that Dykstra has “admitted to what he did in my car.” A kidnapping complaint filed against the driver is pending. Last month, neighbors in Linden claim it's been nothing but a nightmare living next to the 12-year MLB veteran. Dykstra's two-story home on Stockton Circle has turned the once quiet community upside down, according to neighbors. “There's banging going on in the middle of the night. There's cars around the circle like it's a drive-through drug dealership… My wife's afraid to come home,” a man named Dave told CBS2's Lisa Rozner. One neighbor – who didn't want to go on camera – says Dykstra threatened her too, allegedly saying “I'll bring hell to your doorstep.” Councilwoman Gretchen Hickey showed CBS2 ads – that Dykstra allegedly posted – advertising $1,000-a-month rent for each room in his home. She claims there's been up to ten tenants at a time. Some suspect there's also prostitution going on in the home. “I don't care if it's Lenny Dykstra or anybody else, we're not going to tolerate this kind of behavior in our community,” Mayor Derek Armstead of Linden said. City code inspectors visited in January. The councilwoman says Dykstra was fined for having multiple rooms all with locks that Dykstra could not open.
22. It really is a great edition. Glad I was able to get my hands on it for so cheap
23. Thanks! I got it for $10 and it’s in excellent condition. He did give me a good deal then. He said he has other years he’s going to bring next time.
24. I picked up a 1970 Met Yearbook at a flea market last weekend. The vendor is an acquaintance of mine who had no clue I was a Met fan (or even a baseball fan). He gave this to me for what I think is a ridiculously dirt cheap price only because he’s been wanting to date me for years lol. So how much do 1970 yearbooks go for? I did some research, but I’m curious what you guys think. It’s in excellent/near mint condition. I tried to attach pictures of it but the file is too big.
25. I actually think he’ll be a surprise this season since finding his sinker (so he claims) However his appearances will probably be limited so that could also affect his performance.
