I do concur that there is a good point here. That playoff spot in the rotation.....this is going to be very interesting. And Perez may just get it because of his crazy eyes that can convey "watch out, I dont know just where this ball is gonna go." If I was facing the Mets from the batters box, going by looks alone, Perez would scare the shit outta me.

Thats all for Smoltz Maine pitched pretty good for a guy without the proper eyes. One earned run on 3 hits. Phils are being shallacked by Colorado, 10-0
lol--I cant believe I had no use for this graphic work since he was shipped out (and before, somewhat--I was waiting for a BIG clutch HR pulled down the left field line--and we all know that was not going to happen anymore for Ol Man Rivah) and now I posted it twice in 24 hours.

It beats "an unnamed NL executive, and old reliable, "a source familiar with Randolph's thinking." Its actually the same ambiguous thing Edge, imo. Its a source that cant be confirmed or consulted.
I just saw the Beltran/McCann throw out at the plate on ESPN. Jeeze,....thank you Elster88 for your deep description of this play. Elster88 wrote: LOL @ McCann But I concur, lol. Looked like he was running underwater.
Hellzyea, Id like to see Glavine pitch for NY, if he continues pitching. As far as the $$$ involved, I dont care about that side of the equation. Thats baseball business and to me, its still a game.

However, after reading through this thread I guess I should count that as a good thing. Nice to read that Reyes had a good game at the plate. I would really like to see him get back on track before the postseason gets started. I thought also this game would be on TBS. They used to air like every Brave game on that station....looks like that has changed. da bastages. I would have liked to had seen the fat fan in the felt cap.
="Edgy DC"]Willie, how about telling Reyes that not Timo Perez not running on a seeming homerun cost the Mets a playoff game to your team? Rickey, how about telling Reyes that not running on a seeming home run ended your Mets career that same season? Maybe somebody should show him a picture, ...it lasts longer.
