Rollins with a GREAT catch of a Conine pop up. Followed by a real nice play up the middle by that damn Utley. Mets: 2, Phils: 2, Conine broken bats: 2.

Anyone know why the people sitting behind the Phils dugout are wearing fake mustaches? Might not have noticed if the 9 yr old kid didnt have one.

They had a chance with the Castillo lead off single, but Wright hits into the tailor made DP. Glavine gets thru the 7th nicely. He's up to 96 pitches. 2-2, Mets.

="Kid Carsey"]Tossin' anything is a fine, the umps do that pointing thing. The pointing that pisses me off is the ump walking up to Reyes with his finger wagging. That pitch sequence and the umpires desire to be a visible ball buster just sucks. I agree. Next thing I expect to see is a reality show about MLB umps.

Phils broadcasters say Reyes was warned and fined for tossing his bat after that bad call K earlier. I didnt see anything that deserved a fine. He pops up here with Lastings on third, who hit a ground rule double, and we go to the 6th up 2-0. Glavine looks good, as do the Mets in their best unis.

Werth just misses one,...looked to me like Alou stole a homer there, but it may not have cleared the wall. It was a lazy fly, and Alou played lazily. He even made a funny face after the play, like ' easy pickins'.

Damn that Chase Utley. Plays the broken bat grounder by Conine perfectly, tagging Alou out on the basepath and tossing to 1st for the DP.

Just a walk, 2 stolen bases by Castillo, fly out by Wright, walk by Beltran... and Alou drives in Castillo with a baseknock to left Mets up 2-0.

A nice 1-2-3 for Tom. You see that foul ball to left? Memories of Bartman. And Alou looked up as if to distribute some blame, but the fans there, who could have pawed that, were laid back. Kool stuff.

Yea,...Im watching this game. And Francis is going for me in fantasybaseball. Fantasy playoffs now, and I have a nice lil lead goin. But that can change--weekends things can get crazy. Wouldnt have sat him this at this point of the week. But Francis has more than doubled my ERA (1.29 to 3.63) and I really need him to get as many innings in as possible to bring that down. Good, shutout inning ( I imaging if he allows any more runs he'll be pulled. Ugh) preferibly. Watching, he looks a bit wild tonight. Crap, a walk--there goes my WHIP,lol.
