Gattis (who they found sweeping the streets or something), Heyward, Freeman, Simmons, Kimbrel for example - and even going back in years to include Andruw, Francouer, Furcal, plus a bunch of guys I'm forgetting right now and virtually every starter and reliever they've ever had. And even when those guys don't all stay great as their careers progress, the team always gets a couple of good years out of them while they're young & cheap & athletic without having to ever go through that painful break-in time that all normal rookies or newly imported players seem to need. They got that down to a science.
  2. I missed the first one. I didn't miss that one. I thought this was destined to be my first IGT win.
  3. Help yourself here Torres.
  4. FknFrddyFrmn has a weird swing. Kinda like a tomahawk chop.
  5. Man, Dan's eyes lit up when he saw that pitch and heeeeee ripped it. Stand up two bagger and we got lead.
  6. Ha! Gatis sucks and Youngs a crazyman. Just gets in under the tag. Opposite field triBOOM. 1 out. Murph up.
  7. Nice little duel going on here.
  8. Duda doesn't look like Duda anymore. He looks like a young Jason Giambi. One who can't handle change-ups. Its official: Ike's out for the season.
  9. And Young lines a single off him in the first. He's gonna steal.
  10. Thanks for going to the trouble of sharing that JCL. I don't get WFAN too well (not at all during the day, tyvm Wildwood, you frequency hogger) down here.
  11. Murphy 1 Duda 0.5 Lagares 3 Recker 1.6 Lutz 1.2 Byrdak 1 Black 1.2 Hawkins 0.5
  12. Gah, this whole games embarrassing. 13-5.
  13. ugh, ball eats up Satin at third=FAIL. And he went back on it instead of forward. Or maybe he went side to side. I used to play third. I'd be embarrassed if a ball ate me up like that.
  14. Now that's how you steal a base. har
  15. THE AGEE! BIG WOW MOMENT! Awesome card. I have never seen that one before. Real or not that ones amazin'.
  16. It was sunny and then it rained again and then it stopped and now I hear thunder and.. 10!?-3 7th. We could make this a game. Could we? Please? Score runs again! Satin does not run forward. He runs side to side. So far not a great Labor Day 2013.
  17. Fkn Frddy Frmn 1 solid hour, two (many pitches) innings. Suns out here. B bk l8r. 6-1 Freemans
  18. Fkn frddy frmn Clears the bases.
  19. Dice K in trouble in the first. A bunt single and a line single puts Braves on the corners, no out.
  20. Game on! Raining cats and dogs where I'm at. Looks fine in Atlanta. Satin with a 2 out double in the first is left to sway in the wind as Brown grounds out. Muffy and these fly balls.
  21. Young 2.4 Murphy 1 Duda 2.2 den Dekker 1 Turner 0.5 Niese 2.9
  22. We still hurt the Nats. Might be only a dent but might end up being painful in retrospect. Yep, shoulda won this one, and it would have been sweet, but I'll take kicking em in the knee and running away. On the whole I love how the bats have been so alive. The pitching, it was bound to blow a gasket, but its this RUN SCORING that has me in a good mood.
  23. I did not expect them to take a lead. Cuz of the extra innings business. Well, I'm still not off the hook yet. I can be blamed for extra frames but not for a loss.
  24. Q had more time for that throw. Good play and great try, but he had more time and rushed.
  25. Jeezuz H Christ
