  1. wtf? Danny on the bases is really starting to bother me. Base running is not that complicated Muffy.
  2. Okay inning for Zack. Cubs get a cheap single. At 34 pitches after two. 1-0 Mets.
  3. Wow. I thought that was outta there. Just an F-9.
  4. Weak try kid. Go rob a homer.
  5. You drive these in and I'll take you seriously Matt denDekker.
  6. Mmm. Nice first for Wheeler. 9 pitches.
  7. HA! As soon as I post Herman we score.

  9. ....in Chicago. Ew, Muffy was wobbed.
  10. I mainly don't like the railing fence right on top of the wall on the Party City Deck. It allows an outfielder to reach above the wall, but not over and behind it. So I'd like to see the wall brought in two or three feet. (I imagine the railing fence can't really be pushed back without eliminating seats, but perhaps.) This is a good point that never occurred to me. I hate that the rails there. They should map out where all of the Mets deep fly balls are going to land next year against all of the deep flies by the opponents, and zig-zag the outfield walls appropriately. Classic
  11. Could you picture Murphy as a crossing guard? I try and I see only disaster.
  12. Did I ever tell you the story about when I climbed up into the Wrigley Field scoreboard?
  13. At first base is Anthony Rizzo who has 10 dingers (28 RBI), two in the last week. Against the Brewers, Rizzo managed to make his mark with two home runs and four RBI over five at-bats. Rizzo was ejected from the fourth inning of Sunday's game against the Brewers after arguing balls and strikes. .267/.398/.465/.864. 10th in NL in HR (10) 2nd in NL in BB (38) He's 24 yrs old and we want to keep this man down. Whats on second?

Two being cahnfidence (esp the pen) and momentum. They know this Phils team is lacking and the Cubs coming up are worse. Take advantage of these games. And then, hopefully, play better against the better teams. The way this team has been jelling lately, I think they can compete if they keep it up. If all injuries are temp I think we are in good shape. This game wise. Also big. This fourth win was a slap in the Phillies phace and might be the blow that buries em for good. We'll see.

  18. Four ribbies for ya there Duda. Go get em!
  19. Muffy needs a day off. Maybe 2.
  20. Eveland didn't suck. Hope he and Carlyle can keep it up. While they are here, anyway. That would be nice. Wassup w/Gee? Still hasn't had a re-hab start?
  21. I certainly would like to see right center back to where it serves Wrights opp field power. And if I was owner, that would be reason enough.
  22. Bryd sucks. Utley's old and he sucks. Byrd don't suck as bad- gets the force @2nd.
  23. metsguyinmichigan wrote: And den Dekker is playing like a guy who never again wants a return flight to Vegas! mmm, really.
  24. UTLEY!! 5-1 Mets
