Well, we get what we get with the Murph. He's still my favorite Met this season. He'd have to really screw up to screw that up. He's such an interesting player that I wouldn't put it past him though. Like 3 or 4 more games like this. (in a row) Now get us some runs!
Ahhhh Muffy. Keith says it all. The error, okay, you can't make em all, but then trying to throw the guy out after chasing the ball into center....? ahhhh Muffy.
omg, baseball today... What a bunch of whiners. Hit the ball the other way you assholes! Until you do the odds are the shift will get ya, and if you don't start shooting it the other way they will never stop doing it. ADJUST! An actual ban on shifting is something I won't waste time on with a response. Shifts are as old as the sun. Nothing new there. Todays hitters are simply not interested in adjusting.
I will never get used to this. Ever. http://www.fansedge.com/league/mlb/team/new_york_mets/new_york_mets_busy_block_ugly_sweater/source/csefe12-pla-id1723596-3?gclid=CPHN0JiZ4b8CFWoR7AodHSsASA&kwid=productads-plaid^18283950120-sku^1723596@ADL43-adType^PLA-device^c-adid^54908997928 I like how they embrace its ugliness. Tejada has been hit by pitches twice in the last two games (including one to the head yesternight) and they've been playing him non-stop for a month without a backup on the roster. Yea, T abuse (have not seen the head-shot yet). Wilmer up is not my complaint. It's Newy down that bugs me. I should be used to this shit by now.

Ugh. I thought the big thing was getting Wilmer at bats? I guess Rubins recent abuse calls for this, but I liked Newy up here for a more extended look. He came up wicked hot and cooled off, which I'm sure is also a factor. So now Newy will get more needed swings in LV? Whoop-di-doo. Shopping Flores maybe?
