I'll have to play the game back later and catch Gary's comments about Dilson at short. I need to know if that's a possibility. And if not what the reasoning is. 1-1 Mets. We need to knock Cueto outta there. He's at 115 pitches in the 7th.

I saw the beginning of the game, and at a point when I really wanted to pay attention, I got company. Gary had just said he spoke to TC about Herrera playing short, and I really wanted to hear this, but then DING DONG and I'm just getting back to the game now. Does anyone know what Gary said about the possibility of Dilson playing short? Still 1-0 us.

I'm personally distressed with all this Herrera talk. I like him, but saying- oh good, now we can get rid of Murphy without a worry in the world- is a bit much.

Herrera's feets do a niiiiice brisk HR trot. 12-2 in the 8th: Officially, a laugher. I want to laugh out loud but then I see the green Red unis and I have the dry heaves.

1) are hitters pissed if someone gets IBBed in front of them? Some. Maybe most. 2) is being pissed, if that's indeed what happens, good or bad? Depends on how the persons channels his anger. 3) why don't more batters get all worked up, if this is the effect, routinely? Mostly they're trying to stay calm, patient, thoughtful--the opposite of "pissed." Certain things will get the blood up. A pitch to the head (that misses of course). Playing an former team. Contract years. They dial it up a notch. I've certainly observed this type of thing. Nice pitch Bart! 6-2 Guys who are going to win 10 in a row, by first winning their fourth in a row.

The old 3 run homer. The last few weeks it's been nice to experience those. Can't say for sure, but I don't recall many of them early on.

Flores lazy feet almost get someone hurt. Those are dangerous feet. I'd recommend he wear little weights around his ankles during practice.
