  1. Sproat has been in MLB games and proven effective Jett has been largely unavailable four years after being drafted This is even a question?
  2. Not sure why but I almost assumed Peralta would end up here, probably because Stearns was with the Brewers You have to give to get Jett Williams has never been terribly available and was close to bust territory so there's that I like Tobias Myers also He spent Acuna and Jett for two frontline players I don't think he's out on Framber Valdez
  3. I like to see guys make the hall After Beltran the next inductees should be the steroid guys Beltran has opened your door.
  4. Whose ass specifically did he drink from?
  5. Baty has to play everyday at this point doesn't he? There are some odd fits in the lineup right now Done on Bellinger I would say In on Peralta with some of the odd fits moving
  6. Love it! Maybe Baty goes for Skubal etc
  7. This Salary cap time, and I don't want to hear that the players will get less
  8. Mets offering 4/200 so say sources Some teams are offering more years at a less annual salary Taxes are bad in Canada and NY so no advantage there If both contracts have opt outs does the length of the deal really matter that much? Tucker may announce his decision at any time now Sadly I don't think it's going to be the Mets
  9. Saw it when it came out It was a good companion to the "new music" of the era
  10. I loved Stanek I will remember him for an epic hold late last year at Citified
  11. That seems like a lot of money for Bregman He's 32 and declining now imho Tucker just got more expensive
  12. What I read today Dan Duquette says the Mets are in on Tucker The Athletic says Stearns is more likely to improve the pitching through trades rather than signings Sooo, they could end up with Kyle Tucker and Tarik Skubal. No Framber Valdez
  13. False, he's going to have a big year as a Met I will gladly take Robert ahead of Kyle Tucker "if" Tucker has an opt out after year one
  14. I see that the general parameters of a potential Framber Valdez deal range from about 5 years for 160 million No freaking way Stearns does anything even near that. Framber being 32 doesn't help Does anyone here think he might?
  15. I am happy that the Mets are keeping their roster gluten free
  16. John Heyman said in the Post that the Mets have "checked in" on Kyle Tucker. I see that as big news on a quiet Saturday night
  17. Very very quiet
  18. I'm not sold on Jorge Polanco at first. He has virtually no experience there Beyond that he gets hurt a lot Bah humbug
  19. You would get released one day sooner than me...maybe
  20. Conversations about talks with the Padres have ground to a halt The Padres sign Michael King, the Mets make a few moves and it's almost as if there was never anything to any of this if there ever was in a life during wartime
  21. In what world does Framber Valdez get 200 million to possibly shuttle between the mound and the IL? This one I guess Wouldn't it make better sense to see MacLean Sproat and Tong as "newly acquired" for 2026 and save some powder? I understand these young guys are risky also
  22. I'd imagine the Mets were paying for family influence on some level
  23. It was brought up here
  24. Interesting. They do seem to take on a life of their own at times
  25. Ofreidy has been getting cups of coffee in the Mexican league 30 years old and no longer invisible to the baseball Gods I thought I saw he got a two year deal but that seems unlikely Good luck to him. It's a Christmas miracle!
