    Not much to do short term but win If the Reds win 5 or 6 games they are in The combinations that favor the Mets are a tall order to climb Las Vegas agrees, Odds to get WC3 Reds -185 Mets +140 The Reds are favored almost 2-1 Defensively the Mets seem flat out lethargic. The optics of their effort have not been the best but....... If course the Mets will win 5 or 6 while the Reds fade

    I would agree that the Mets need to get younger. McLean Sproat is a great start They played poorly. I am unable to put a finger on one thing It will be interesting in the off-season to see if there was a clubhouse issue This all applies whether they make the tournament or not

    My fear with Alonso is that Boras wears Cohen out again and Stearns comes up with other options at 1B It may depend on Cohen's willingness to sign Pete after a potential non tournament season. We kinda know Stearns would not want Pete back solely based on analytics
