I would agree that the Mets need to get younger. McLean Sproat is a great start They played poorly. I am unable to put a finger on one thing It will be interesting in the off-season to see if there was a clubhouse issue This all applies whether they make the tournament or not

Seinfeld episode. Peterman would be Cohen. This morning the interweb is all a fuss about a Ken Rosenthal article in the Atlantic dated 9/12 that "cryptically" implies there might be a distraction in the Mets clubhouse He brings up Soto Alonso and Lindor but it's like reading tea leaves as to what he is really trying to say My personal guess is if there is anything to this it might be the relationship between Alonso and Soto and maybe Pete's contract situation Soto will be a Met next year, Alonso? Who knows

I would call it "Mets Mythology" It's a subjective "what do you believe in" or not call It's by no means all negative. There are positive themes also, The Amazin Mets comes to mind. In my opinion anyway

I have followed and Sproat has been effective his his last 11 starts or so Nolan McLean said that the key for Sproat turning around his season was getting ahead in counts as his stuff is so good I thought they waited a bit long on McLean to debut but I would be nitpicking Good luck to Sproat on Sunday -
