Fell asleep early to now see the beautiful result. Trevor my man! Asset indeed. Everything is turning to gold.

    He looks like Max Kellerman.

I have to believe if Marte doesn't start tonight he will be put on the IL.

Khalil Lee, how 'bout that. Well done so as always.

I believe he gets called up at some point sans a trade for a veteran. Is Francisco a generational talent? Might be.

They just got Suzuki back. He was out for a good while.

Keegan is a home grown Cub who was used in bullpen games til about 5-6 weeks ago. He has done a decent job of late. He will never be accused of having electric stuff. Note to Eppler, bring Contreras back to NY.

Beautiful game. Looking forward to Wilbon getting roasted on pti tonight. This team makes many things seem easy that are not.

Lotta leftie bats and a lotta guys out.

I am thinking of using the daily fantasy DFS awarded points as a metric for this. On 6/28 the Mets lost 9-1 and Marte got 5.87 votes after a 3-4 with 2 doubles. I'm not complaining but I don't quite get it.

    Catching up now.

I do not how to blow up the YouTube Peterson Buehler clip. Anyone? Anyone? I am going on a limb in saying Marte plays tonight.

David Peterson v Spencer Strider. Strider is certainly an ROY contender.

Edgy MD wrote: Yeah, jumping out at me are (a) a lot of lefties in a lineup going up against Fried, and ( a sudden return to the five-hole for Eduardo Escobar after he's been dropping in the lineup for much of the season. I still haven't seen the transaction activating Jankowski, but the lineup is certainly tipping that one off. Watch the Mets Roster Central thread for more! Agreed on the lefty bats and all. The may only need a run two to this one.

I CAN'T TAKE IT! Hurry back Jeff.

    Bean him.

Max Scherzer v Max Fried Tomorrow Peterson v Strider Wednesday Bassist v Morton These Braves starters are on fire and I don't give a crap. LGM,!

Feels great to be a New York Mets fan today.
  22. ashie62
This is truly great as is.
  23. ashie62
Keith speaking, he is genuinely moved.

It seems like Bryan Delacruz has been a bit of a Met killer this far in his short career.

=Marshmallowmilkshake post_id=98840 time=1657320551 user_id=119] Thrilled to be here! My first Citi visit since the first year! Was really worried about the rain but it seems to be holding off. The Seaver statue is spectacular!
