The Mets have been Chasened.

They've got to chase Noah Davis. They can't let this emergency pitcher coast.

I went to pee and the lead was lost.

TRIVIA QUESTION: Who was the first Mets position player to make the All-Star Team three times? I'm going with Stoins.

My lungs are burning just watching Iglesias here.

Yeah, it totally ruined my squeeze-bunt plan.

Wow, Feltner's evening ends after an inning. This game is on a platter for the Mets to help themselves to, should they be willing. Gamel, meanwhile, has trimmed his fray.

We not only get a lead, but a rare Alonso stolen base! I can't say for certain, but it's his third stolen base, and I'm thinking the other two were on the tail end of double-steals.

Bad take by Nimmo there.

=kcmets post_id=165525 time=1723072284 user_id=53] Why must the positions be in unreadable colors in lower case and in a smaller size than the player's names? The player names are perfect. Utterly perfect! I know the reason, asking for a friend who I won't tell the reason!

I'm not sure what you are trying to suggest.

Frayed Knot wrote: Edgy MD wrote: Credit that win to the Rockies' infield. And the Mets lack of crisp defense: - throwing error by Bader - several 'coulda' plays by Vientos not made plus one actual (if flukey) error - Taylor momentarily fumbling the ball in the RF corner - the runner is out at home (or stays at 3rd) if he doesn't - then, even after Taylor's bobble, that was a really poor relay throw from Iglesies. He rushed it when he didn't need to and two-hopped a throw from short RF BOTH of those last two needed to happen for the Rox to score that run. Yeah, but that's more the crediting of the loss. On defense, the Mets looked like they had been in three time zones in three days. An impressively bad game on both sides of the ball for Vientos. Confidence seems affected.

Must be 10 years ago I picked up his memoir, but only just recently decided to read it.

Credit that win to the Rockies' infield. Strange to suddenly see Nolan Arrenado playing so indifferently at third in St. Louis, but his successor here in Denver looks as good as Arrenado ever was.

Stay tight, Vodnik.

Now they need three in the ninth. If only they were playing in Colorado.

Also making a leaky pen look like The Nasty Boys.

Also, stop hitting it to McMahon.

Now the Rox send out a rookie with seven games under his belt and an ERA over seven. Take advantage!

Now that the Rock Island Liners have changed pitchers, the Mets lefties on the bench come into play. The difference in this game is McMahon's glove vs. that of Vientos. And on that note, bench lefty Jesse Winker kills a rally with a GiDP.

Perfecto is gone, but he has a no-hitter through eight.

Way to jump on that first pitch after the meetup, Nimmo.
