  1. In actual game news. The Mets fell behind 4-0 in the top of the first and got three of those babies back thru back-to-back belly-to-belly homers by Turner and Wright. Ike Davis got a one-out walk, and Torres is trying to join the fun now.
  2. This could lower his score. http://www.jewornotjew.com/profile.jsp?ID=787

  4. Rubicon is reporting that Jason Bay's back has become bestiffed and he his therefore observing a holiday of his own.

    Hi,

Sgt. Robert Pampano, I believe was the name.
  7. Patrons were indeed paying for a "service," and if the actual service providers didn't have a deal that stipulated they received that "charge," well, is that the Yankees' fault? Or responsibility? "Yes." Because "patrons" were deceived into thinking the "fee" was for their servers. I can picture this going to court and the hearing just being a festival of lawyers making quotey-quotey fingers.

  9. Number which may or may not have meaning: Davis has nine homers with two or more runners on, most in the majors.

  14. Has rookie hazing day happened yet? Have the Mets done away with it?
  15. Kingman's the one guy who did it in two separate tenures. In fact, Bonilla's the only other guy on this list to have a second tenure, though HoJo returned to camp, I think.
  16. Was that a false name he played under in order to disguise his age?
  17. Magic number for clinching fourth place is six.
