    Let us not overlook that we got a perfect inning by Helsley. And not a there-were-line-drives-everywhere-but-they-were-caught perfect inning. There was one liner but it was a two-out rip by James Wood, not Nasim Nuñez or anybody.

    James Wood has a really smooth and imposing swing.

    I amn't sure this should be voted on and campaigned and such. It probably helps expose the players' efforts but there are other ways they can do that.

    My experience is that you have to jump early if you are going to jump 15-17 feet in the air. He just starting falling back to earth a lot earlier than he might have hoped, not being a human-frog hybrid of some sort.

    Well, then, yeah, getting picked off a base should count as a CS whether you are breaking for the next bag or back to the bag you occupy when you eat it.

    Devenski seals the deal. Put aside that fifth-inning bomb against Brazzy, and the pen did nicely. And they get to keep their powder dry with Diaz.

    So we have disagreement on the rule. I agree with Gwreck. And Gary says nightly that no Met has been caught stealing by a catcher since May, which sort of necessarily implies that getting picked off by the pither is getting caught stealing.
