  1. That's what you get for playing Kevin Baez.
  2. Rockin' Doc wrote: Cuddyer finally gets a hit and then he gets taken out of the game. You'd figure they'd wait until a potential double-switch to do that.
  3. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Bill Webb poops the frauds in the TBS truck. It can't be said enough. Harvey giveth and Harvey taketh.
  4. I'd hate to see Rizzo go down that way.
  5. That was a bad shot on the Flores flyout the way the old Yankee PIX broadcasts used to do following a deep fly with the camera instead of following the fielder, that way the ball looks majestic, but you have no idea where it's going.
  6. I guess this is the Sno-Cone inning.
  7. Reed sure seemed to be throwing in earnest. By the way, it sure is good to see Harvey not wearing that misbegotten chrome insignia.
  8. . YOO CAN DOO IT, ROCK![/bigpurple]
  9. . ROC-KY! ROC-KY![/bigpurple]
  10. Those are two sweet cookies you passed on, Wrighty.
  11. Mets in three.
  12. You don't run on Cespedes. I don't care if you're a bear cub.
  13. Darling's right. Assist to the wind. Straight ahead drive like that to center fielder becomes a knuckler.
  14. It was really nice of the spirit of Yoenis Cespedes to take over the body of Daniel Murphy instead of fleeing the scene entirely.
  15. I was wondering who should get first pitch duties. The last NLCS hero makes the most sense, thought I. But then I realized the Mets last NLCS MVP was Mike Hampton, and I didn't think the forgiveness was all that strong among the fan base. Then I suddenly realized, that despite the Mets being an impressive 4-for-5 in NLCS series over their history, Hampton is their only NLCS MVP. The honors went to an opposing player in 1986, and the award hadn't been established yet in 1973 and 1969. So Hampton it is!
  16. I support the Cuddyer move. I just fear it could be undermined by him getting booed during introductions.
  17. I like.
  18. I'll try and come up with more meaningful questions.
  19. Maybe that's the right move, but I'd rather not a consequential decision be made based on hyperbole.
