  1. Nice work, Familia. Let's win by seven tomorrow.
  2. [fimg=500]https://cdn.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/PGkTUBvQ1Z5TORx-kQd0IBeoHLI=/1090x0:2820x1153/1200x800/filters:focal(1090x0:2820x1153)/cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/42083290/457329724.0.jpg[/fimg] Err, now check the bat for pine tar!
  3. Oh, not a base issue.

  5. Gsellie? I'm OK with that, but this is where you use your #1 guy.
  6. Nimmo leads off or GtFO.
  7. Man, I love how fast Sewald works.
  8. OK, big rally time! [youtube:8a9mluey]k6PgftKbQnQ[/youtube:8a9mluey]
  9. Eight walks into this game, the Mets should be leading.
  10. Seems like it's been a while, Seabee.

  12. Ozuna wears his Gold Glove in the field. How that's a triple is beyond me.
  13. Thank you. GET HARVEY UP!!
  14. Challenge on the spot or go home!
  15. The Nimmolessness of this whole affair gives me pause.
  16. I imagine there are a dozen other scenarios. Incarceration. Alien abduction. I should have included an "OTHER" option. On behalf CPF Industries and Qualcomm, I apologize.
  17. Seven votes and we're all over the board! He will flourish and return to the rotation. 1 14% He will flourish and continue on as an asset in the pen. 1 14% He will distinguish himself in neither a positive nor negative manner. 2 29% He will struggle and finish out the year as a Met, if possibly a disabled one. 1 14% He will struggle and be released. 2 29%
  18. How do you see Matt Harvey's tenure in the bullpen breaking? [fimg=600:1dyjum89]https://elitesportsny.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/harvey-e1524434241200.png[/fimg:1dyjum89]
  19. It may be the best AC/DC album that isn't actually an AC/DC album, which sure isn't nothing.
  20. [youtube:b1xm9yg5]RRiaEYWWFSw[/youtube:b1xm9yg5] Because why wait 'til Friday morning?
  21. This game may be historic if it's the debut of Matt Harvey, relief pitcher. Heck, even if he doesn't play, there are sure to be 1,000 shots of him in the bullpen, attempting to look serious and driven, but in fact projecting surly and lonely. Much Ron Darling reflection on the subject will occur as well.
  22. Following a stretch of bad weather and consecutive cancellations last week, the Ponyboys have won three of four, pulling within three and half games of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, tonight's opponent and last night's loser. They have already fallen behind 2-0 following a first-inning New Hampshire homer off of Andrew Church. Jeff McNeil has come on strong since last week's report, with a walk, double, and triple last night raising his OPS to 1.065. The lefthanded batter swings between second and third base, but has played a lot of outfield and some shortstop on his way through the system, and if he keeps his health, should finish the season at Las Vegas and be a candidate for a hitting utility man. All-field/no-hit centerfielder Champ Stuart has taken his label quite literally this April, starting the season on an 0-19 turn. His five walks so far are the only thing keeping his career on life support. Tyler Bashlor continues to kill it out of the pen, being unscored upon in seven and 2/3 innings, striking out 10. Tyler appeared in four games this spring, and is on the 40-man roster, so don't be surprised if he appears in Flushing. Nabil Crismatt gave up his first two runs his last time out, but his ERA still sits at 1.10 through three starts, as he attempts to become what I would guess would be the first Nabil in big league history. Faring more poorly is Milton, Massachusetts' own Johnny Magliozzi. Johnny has an ERA over 10, and yeah, it's a small sample size of three and 2/3 innings, but this ain't the PCL. Get it together, Johnny. 25. Low strikeout rates: The hallmark of really good batters, and pretty bad ones too!
