  1. I was actually imagining a scenario where he found a way to do just that.
  2. The problem is Nimmo, apart from (I think) being a day away from eligibility, has to be 100%. The bench is too thin to activate him just for defense and baserunning. He has to be able to bat. Sounds like we're going to see Lee.
  3. If you can't get Pillar's home run, you should be happy to get Villar's run home. Good win for the Tuesday Night Mets Club.
  4. If Almora hits the IL (and I think he's probably got to, if only the abbreviated concussion IL), the Mets have Khalil Lee on the roster, and he's starting to hit. I think Nimmo is still a day or two from being eligible for activation, if he is indeed ready. J.D. Davis last played on May 1, so he should be eligible tomorrow ... again, if he's ready. Guillorme is eligible, and hopefully his oblique strain is behind him. If he gets launched, I guess Villar can play a little outfield?
  5. I wonder if they'll start Maz tomorrow.
  6. Patrick Mazeika = "Mr. Fielder's Choice."

  8. KAPOWIE!!!
  9. If they shift that may open up a steal of third.
  10. The Mets aren't much for taking the extra base these days.
  11. Bunting camp, guys.
  12. We may get a Mazeika with the bags gagged again.
  13. And a leadoff hit is something also.
  14. Staying alive and wearing down the pitcher is good stuff too.
  15. Almost. More Pillar, Villar, McCann, and Smith to go for the win.
  16. =bmfc1 post_id=63915 time=1620783444 user_id=73] What a bunt. Maybe Pete should have done that given the way he's hitting. That was mean. I'm annoyed. But geez, hit a damn fly ball, you're Pete Alonso.
  17. You're killing your team there, Donnie Diesel.
  18. Great move, Freddy Galvis. Hats off to ya.
  19. The Mets not only lose Almora here, but they lose Smith's bat in the eighth.
  20. =LWFS post_id=63894 time=1620781774 user_id=84]A) Loup tends to come this close to hitting dudes all the time
  21. Lenny Dykstra has two books to his name. I guess if I was dating a lady who frontlisted one of those, it might be a red flag. https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1391125432l/636025.jpg> [fimg=305]https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51WLWiRGqzL._SX331_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg[/fimg]
  22. Howie is reporting hit data just to get angry at hit data.
  23. Yeah, but if you hire a few sub-.100 hitters, Francisco Lindor gets all his confidence back.
  24. Supposedly, McKneel looks OK. Sorry, Todd.
  25. McNeil gets hit #2 and pulls up a little gimpy. Good thing I have Todd Frazier on speed dial.
