  1. The wild pitch. The Mets' greatest offensive tool.
  2. Swinging 2-0 to leadoff the inning. Not going to get you out of this hole, Jeffcoat. And could you have half-assed it to first any more?
  3. The best part about watching Justin Turner bat is ... something I may have to get back to you on.
  4. And they deserve to be beaten. City Connect is allowing some teams to beat the Mets with some strange costumes.
  5. Buehler looks even more like Orel Hershiser than usual tonight.
  6. Zeika gets caught looking.
  7. Two out and two on and Mazeika is the guy I want up.
  8. Please don't lose to a team dressed like this. The Dodgers look like a high school track team that hasn't yet taken off their warmup sweats.
  9. I love to see the old heath's withered brake Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling
  10. It's amazing theater watching McNeil return to the bench following a failed at-bat. He makes distorted faces and jaws and jaws to nobody in particular and nobody wants to reply to him. I love his skill set, but he sure seems to be his own worst enemy. I don't know what the future holds but he's under contract next season and Baez ain't. My thoughts on Baez contact rate and outmaking frequency don't need to be repeated.
  11. Doing the crossword in between innings and ... good omen! https://metsrostercentral.files.wordpress.com/2021/08/screen-shot-2021-08-20-at-12.51.17-am.png>
  12. McNeil looks like quite the psycho in the dugout.
  13. DJs are on pitcher #6. Let's get chasey.
  14. Todd and Gelbs stepping all over each other this game.
  15. Nimmo is, like, one of those grownup centerfielders.
  16. Good challenge by Metties, but run lost to McTurncoat.
  17. And J.D. adds to the Mets' baserunning negatives. Or subtracts from.
  18. Zodd Teile's whiskey voice is something. Mary Hart and Burt Sugarman are in the house. Burt, so far, is awake.
  19. No momentum here as the Mets get on the board and knock out the starter (in the third?).
  20. The Mets may end up advancing the Met count the most times in a season since 1962.
  21. Yeah, but it was a really well-pitched game through all that. Cohen calling out the hitters really motivated the pitching staff. #scienceisreal
  22. You're answering your own question, but it's not my answer. Mostly kicked aside were Jonathan Villar and Luis Guillorme.
  23. If it was calculated, I'd be grossly disappointed. President Trump has hopefully ended the notion that management-through-Twitter is a way forward for an organization.
