  2. 1-0 and threatening for more. Insurmountable lead?
  3. That line out by McCann was the first ball out of the infield by the Mets. Four GOs plus 8 Ks to go along with the walks and the one IF single.
  4. Which Hanson brother is this? oe: I beat Gary T. to the punchlibe by about 2 seconds
  5. West was consistent, I'll give him that. Six inches off the plate was a strike for everyone. I guess that's why his consistency numbers are better than his accuracy score.

It could be worse, we could have traded for Ian Kennedy. That would have required some initiative, some creative thinking, and not just asking Lindor who to get.

  8. 4 hits, 3 of them singles, none in the clutch.
  9. Hardly matters. This game was lost five innings ago after two were out and none on facing the 8 & 9 hitters.
  10. You get the idea that this game could go 25 innings and they still wouldn't put up another run.
  11. It occurs to me that Alex Bohm has been our best OBA guy tonight. Grounders to him increase our odds of getting on.
  12. Maybe they could try swinging something other than rolled-up wet newspapers. The Phils have hit two to the fence plus one in the second deck while we've yet to make an outfielder even back up.
  13. Not a good night (or week) for young Brandon.
  14. 5-3 Braves, mid-6th
  15. Leadoff walks are part of the opposing team's strategy when facing the Mets.
  16. The problem with Thorne is he's way out of practice and seems totally flummoxed by the remote calling thing.
  17. We can't get XBHs and we can't prevent them either.
  18. Got the fucking leadoff guy on again. They should know better by now.
  19. 4 innings, 3 hits, 3 walks, 2 errors = 1 run

  21. Gibson/Realmuto were counting on getting at least one call on those off the plate pitches to Nido. Not a bad strategy while you're ahead in the count but they hung with it too long.
  22. Back to back leadoff hits push our run scoring percentage this inning up over 3%
  23. Somehow Stroman has a higher pitch count thru 3 than does Gibson.
