] Floyd and Milledge. Milledge is at least useful as a pinch-runner. I went with Floyd and Milledge,I think it was the game Friday night that Gary said that Willie doesn't see Milledge as a guy coming off the bench to pinch hit in the post-season.

I voted in the rotation and consider bringing him back next year,I like Steve and think it would be a shame if he were not on the post-season roster, having said that though he is not making that decision easy, but as he said himself he has had four good months and a few bad starts so I think he'll make it.

Lets get Maddux Saturday...the Mets looked dead tonight...fucking rookie pitchers.

Mr. Kiner is in the booth.

Johnny what did you think of the interview? EDIT:..Lukas seems like a cool guy.
-
Why do you expect that to happen 62?,aren't there enough players in the draft every year without having possibly several hundred or thousand more to deal with, what countries would this international draft cover?,how would it work,I want specifics please.
-
I'm looking long term, I really believe Omar has a vision and a plan for this success to be more than just this season, the foundation of the team is locked up so things should be brilliant for the future.
-
Do we have a KTE plan in place for the post-season?,I know Steve said he would like to do all the teams but I think others should get to join the fun.

Reyes is the most exciting player in the majors...from the NY Posy article, this surprised me... ] No shortstop has compiled these numbers - average (.301), hits (172), doubles (27), triples (16), home runs (18), runs (113) and stolen bases (56) - in nearly 100 years. In 1908, inaugural-class Hall of Famer Honus Wagner (1936) offered up similar production with a .354 average, 39 doubles, 19 triples, 10 home runs, 100 runs and 53 stolen bases. nice company he's keeping.
-
That was really cool, sounds like a fun time Dickshot.
-
Playing the Phillies would be cool I think, especially a very intense series, get the rivalry going at full boil.....I imagine thousands of Mets fans filling the philly stadium, fights in the stands like a Rangers Flyers game...FU Philly.

] Rodriguezwhose thin skin, remarkable sensitivity, and vulnerable nature have made him susceptible to chronic emotional problems BRILLAINT

]"They've got an American League lineup," manager Bobby Cox said. "There are no easy outs any more." Smoltz on the Mets. Their offense is the best offense in baseball, I think, because of what every component can do]

]Speaking of the new Met ball park under construction they said: "Itll be a nice park, for about a week." bloody wankers -
In a five game series you only need to win two and not three?
-
From the Times article today. ] Willie Randolph said he did not anticipate having a postseason need for any of the players who were recalled when rosters expanded last Friday.
-
Yeah very true but I would love to see Floyd in the post-season getting big hits.....not saying he deserves it but it would be cool.
-
I feel for Cliff, a good Met in the bad days and now when the team is great he is not, from what I have read he wants back but knows that's not reality.
-
That's still funny even in text.....this claims to be a pic of said amp,you can see #11

When I first came here from Tipperary I sported a MFY cap for a time, I soon saw the error of my ways.

1999 was my favourite season as a Mets fan,,not only was it my first taste of a good Mets team but it was capped by winning the WC,those final few weeks were a roller coaster...and torture.
