  1. Gary ,Keith and Ron talked about this the other night and Cohen question weather West used the correct forum to voice his digust. Keith and Ron piped in that West has that type of personality and always had. I like that the ump said what he said, a nine inning game taking nearly four hours....bleh.

  3. The Daily News has a trivia question in a feature called "Extra Innings" , perhaps Martino brought that with him, Martino btw blogs each game. Test Your Mets IQ Other than Tom Seaver, what other Mets have worn # 41? Don't go running to http://mbtn.net/ for the answer.
  4. On the positive side I thought Niese looked good after all he has been through and I feel comfortable with him out there.
  5. I guessed one correctly , I'm a happy camper.

  11. I hope she's pitching for us tonight...a bit more appealing that Niese.

  13. I can't read it as it's blocked.....some of us are at work you know and not hanging out in Manhattan beach.
  14. What does it say? , should I even care?
  15. 10th inning debuts (12): David Newhan OF - 2007
  16. Yeah Edgy , that and just waltzing up to someone at his house or in the bar with his buddies and confronting him, maybe 50 years ago priests did that but not now. He reminded me of Mickey Rooney in those old movies, the way he looked.
  17. 10th inning debuts (12): Jeff Conine - OF 2007
  18. I didn't like it , he scores on a gapper from first right? Bay absolved him after the game saying htat yoiu need someone on second to score. I'll take the positives here, they battled back , what about using Mejia in that spot? , it looked like a lost game at that point but there was still plenty of time to come back and win it.
  19. At first I thought the priest was just another way of showing how much of a horrible person Eastwood's character was , and I don't think he amounted to much more than that.
  20. .292/.355/.450/ 25 HR - 101 RBI - 5th in MVP voting . All-Star starter
  21. WOW, Maine looks like he hasn't got much in that arm.....no fastball yet anyway.
  22. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Admit it -- You too looked at this list and said "Who the fuck is A.J. Hinch?!?" I had to look up who the Arizona's manager was and still had no idea who he is.
  23. I have always liked Bochy , but it's not an overly inspiring list. I see a whole lot of guys like the one we have, for better or worse.
  24. Jerry gets a lot of stick for not being the brightest with in game moves and general team moves. It got me curious though as to what current NL manager you would consider to be a great in-game manager, who would you wnat calling the shots in the Mets dugout?
