billy (nj) what is the latest on daniel murphy injury. Adam Rubin (12:06 PM) Actually have breaking news on that as well. I'm told by a source that Murphy has a pull in his left hamstring, but it's not alarming. And Fernando Martinez was told the knee just needs strengthening -- no impending surgery or anything.

Watching him the last few seasons struggle to get five innings in was frustrating , really not sure if he's worth the risk but he might be worth it when compared to what the Mets will supposedly be shopping for in terms of pitching....Millwood ect.

Caught this on Showtime yesterday.....visually beautiful if dark , looks like it was shot in sepia or duotone . Can't compare it to the book as I have never read it but i enjoyed this movie, had some great life lessons and all that.

You've got to think that come trading deadline he will be a very attractive player , providing of course he is having a good season.(and that the Mets are not in contention, or they are and feel they can get back pieces to help them NOW, it's getting complicated) -
