  4. Jay Horwitz ?@Jay_HorwitzPR Because we only come to Colorado once, MLB has given the Mets and Rockies the go-ahead to play a triple header this week.11,4 and 8 times wow
  5. John Cougar Lunchbucket wrote: Moving the series to Phoenix seems like the most feasible solution. Indoor park, Dbaggs not home, etc etc. It's far too logical, Bud will never think of it.
  6. Gotta have that open air stadium.
  7. Wright owns Correia , kills him......he best be playing .
  8. Absolutely never heard of this guy.
  9. I think St. Peter will meet the fans at the gate tonight , should be interesting.
  10. Yeah it's crazy weather....saw a report the other night on the News, while it was 80's in the north east the mid west was getting snowed in...it showed Kansas, the north west of that state was 17 F while over in Topeka on the other side of the state it was high 70's.
  11. I wouldn't trade then for even Mike Stanton.....
  12. Frayed Knot wrote: John Sickels looks back at Brian Cole from a prospect standpoint. Thanks for that link, well worth the read. Cool that Sickels was able to dig up his old reports in Cole.
  13. Thankfully SNY had that five inning interview with Harvey during the game.
  14. Sure they have conversations, this current one involving Cooney is quite good.
  15. twitter is fun just now Phillies beat writer Kevin Cooney ?@KevinCooney You can't make the worst outfield in the majors & then u prance and pose after a 3B down 8-2. Get a freaking clue our own Bmfc getting retweeted and quoted by Rubin Adam Rubin ?@AdamRubinESPN 6m Or Victorino! RT @jeffhysen: On behalf of Mets fans, tell @KevinCooney to take hike. He ever watched Rollins strut or Howard admire his HRs?

  20. Edgy MD wrote: There's some crazy misreporting in that blog. For one, it makes Warthan's statement seem like it comes in response to Maine's recent Times comments, when it was said after Maine's fate-sealing start about Maine's insisting that he was OK to pitch when he wasn't. It's also a little incomplete. The full comment was, "John is a habitual liar, in a lot of ways, as far as his own health." (The Times link has the full quote and the correct timeline.) It also unfairly conflates the team's training staff, diagnostic physicians, and rehabilitation team. Yeah really...... and this Without getting involved in the he said-he said drama that always emerges via media outlets, this does make fans wonder if it is merely an isolated incident. right , you wouldn't want to call Dan when you can drag out a years old quote , he said indeed .
  21. Hilarious Zvon...took me a minute to find Jeffy in the Beatles one.
  22. Yeah , I think this stemed from Matt's twitter feed specifically the pic of the Escalade
  23. And God forbid but he is also a Pats fan, much to the chagrin of numbnut Mets fan who think he should be a Jets fans because he now plays for the Mets. Twitter can be hilarious and such was the case when Harvey got called up last year and of course garnered more attention...he tweeted his love for the Pats during one of the of games.....this of course set some Mets fan alight and moved Harvey to defend his love of the Pats....
  24. Frayed Knot wrote: And the thing about Dibble is that he's still an asshole 24 years after that day! He seems rather proud of that though, which makes him a bigger asshole.
