  2. WTF is wrong with Chris Young?, why would he be gone?
  3. It's not exactly Pedo V Smoltz in terms of needing a win but fuck it we need this win....time to shine Zack.

  7. So did the new rules influence Tejada on that non play at the plate? and keith is correct, no wheels.
  8. Here we go... enjoy "The Jeet Index": http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/derek-jeter OMFG...what an embarrassment, and then there is this, TRIPE Shape up, CC, or doom DJ's farewell April, 1, 2014 By Ian O'Connor
  9. Yeah, several games I attended last season had the clowns there...plus CIRQUE DU SOLEIL in the parking lot.....it was inconvenient. Can't imagine how bad it was for Opening Day.
  10. Was it Ron that made the remark about the velocity , he sounded like "wow, that is troubling".

I would rend to agree , he has not done much wrong since taking office I think, with the amount of snow he did good.....trying to fix the schools, free UPK, all good things....shit, Boss Tweed would get booed nowadays.
  13. In his prime he would have fitted the mold of hitter the org. likes? and yes, Bobby is likely already having nightmares about the Pepsi Porch area.
  14. Gwreck wrote: Miscellaneous: Crowd was very welcoming to Granderson. Lesser cheers for Chris Young and Colon. Biggest cheers for Wright, Harvey and Wheeler. I think Valverde is basically ticking dynamite but he was throwing 92 and got the big Ks, so good for him. Davis does not look at all improved at the plate. Does not bode well for Davis.
  15. Fuck......agree with staying with Gee...until that hit of course.
  16. So weird to see the Phillies playing the Rangers on Opening Day
  17. TransMonk wrote: I like the aggressive approach of swinging at the first pitch the Mets have shown today. I know it is not going to work all the time, but when you know what's likely to come, put it in play. love what Alderson says on that This is not hitting for dummies,? said Alderson. Be aggressive? What the hell does that mean? Being aggressive is just swinging from your ass. But it doesnt accomplish a lot. Even out of Aldersons mouth, it doesnt sound exactly simple. Its something in between aggressiveness and passivity, he said. Its aggressiveness with judgment, or patiently aggressive. Or aggressively patient.

  20. Yeah, who gives a fuck?, is it because he is a communist? a Red Sox fan?
  21. Congrats, hope complications are not with the baby....
  22. Excellent read , but yes, don't really care what sauce Alderson likes .
  23. LOL.....I just laughed ...it's so true....Albert has that hockey puck stuck in his mouth all the time....
  24. Really, Scully sounds the same now as he did with the Mookie call when he was in his pomp......that is just amazing.
  25. Centerfield wrote: Now we get to listen to Vin Scully. Awesome. it truly is a joy ....there is nothing better in baseball , the last of his kind , how many years now?, 50 plus?
