    I didn't like him when he was an MFY. He was an arrogant a-hole who bragged that Babe Ruth couldn't have gotten a hit off him. I didn't like it when the Mets signed him. I don't like him now. I don't know if the Mets will be better or worse without him, but I'll feel better. Later

    Everyone has their own line. You fill the glass drop by drop until it finally spills over the edge. Adam crossed that line for me. But that's just me. Of course, if he goes out there and blows them away in his next appearance, I'll gladly drain some of the water out of the glass. I'm a fan. Later

    Not sure if it was Rose self-promoting or the Reds fans. It might have been one of the years when the fans got to vote and Cincy fans were famous for stuffing the ballot box. IIRC there was one year (late 50's/early 60's) that eight Reds were voted to the All- Star team as starters. The only non-Red was Stan Musial. It could have been Gordon Coleman (Reds) who finished second. But I was one of those Mets fan who was PO'd when Rose won. Later
