Phils called up a Michael Plassmeyer for his first taste of the bigs. Plassmeyer sounds like a fictitious name of a guy you shouldn't trust in a prep-school movie or something.

And they win the damn thing. Too much drama but it's 2023.

I thought Quintana was pitching the opener but now see it's Megill. Some stiff named TBD is going for the cheesesteak faces.

'Muffy Day' in the last-season-series IGT subject? Really, why?

I think they said if this game is not resumed and it matters to the Marlins after Sunday they'll have to finish it on Monday. See dumb stoppage comment above. It's one freaking out.

Dumb stoppage with two outs. It's gonna rain for like a day and a half. Pass the Tullamore D.E.W.

McNutty shelved to the IL, torn little something in his elbowish area or something. Amputation news on X (formally known as Twitter) has not been posted yet.

Mets have yet to announce pitchers for either game. First pitch, 4:10. Both games are on SNY.

Are the Phillies clinching the playoffs tonight with a late day win? I think they needed a win today and someone else losing. Lazy question.
  21. kcmets
Right, Camera Carter lol... Gary you went 0 for 4 today with two infield fly outs and two K's swinging. Tell us about it. How does my hair look? We'll get 'em tomorrow.

=MFS62 post_id=138032 time=1695414259 user_id=60]I don't know if I could last to the AS break. His formulaic bullpen usage, his random number generated lineups and siting players after a hot game would have driven me nuts by then.

I'm fine with Buck for one more year. If the Mets suck at the all-star break in '24 kick his sorry millionaire ass to the curb and bring in Bartolo.

I was under the weather last night and 'missed' most of this. I see I didn't miss much. Forgot to DVR on 9 and no Mets Fast Forward this morning. Apple tonight. LFG... ah, never mind...
