Edgy MD wrote: Really, any story that involves accusations of racism and death threats shouldn't really be allowed to just fade away. don't worry, Mets fans will inevitable renew the racism and death threats on Friday.. What's this all about? I'm forgetting something? Racism, death threats? We see Stro' tomorrow afternoon.

IGT 7/12/22 Peterson! Take care of Strider Mets v Atl
kcmets replied to ashie62's topic in Archived Game Threads
Starling Marte (groin) remains absent from the Mets' starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Braves. Marte will miss his third consecutive contest on Tuesday night due to left groin inflammation. The 33-year-old veteran outfielder will likely receive a few additional days off this week to rest and fully recover, but it sounds like he has a shot to get back into New York's lineup sometime in the near future. It'll be Travis Jankowski getting another start in right field in his absence. SOURCE: EDGE Daily Lineups Jul 12, 2022, 3:10 PM ET -

I was watching Mets Fast Forward this morning and Pillow Guy commercial started for two seconds only to be zapped by a regional commercial. Made me laugh. Need more zapping.

I would not like this Schaefer model mad at me.

Looks a little limpy, but we'll see.

Didn't think of that, but yeah. Hope it's a happy birth and McNutty gets back soon.

Have they said if they're expecting a boy or a girl or a wait-and-see?
-
Right, I'm not ignoring previous comments. I agree with you.

So why bunt with two strikes instead of trying to hit a grounder towards 3B? I'm not sure, but I think the answer is "why not."

Hit it where they ain't > fancy spray graphs.
