The Mets actually have a sponsor named Cheap-O Air?

I guess, next to Kars-4-Kids and YourMarketingSucks.com, it's not as embarrassing, but who would put their child on a plane with "Cheap-O" painted on the tail section?

Do any of you fly Cheap-O?

Ah, that makes it 23% less off-putting!

It's not a fly-by-night carrier at all! It's an aggregator of fly-by-night carriers! Whew!

So there's been this add running during the playoffs for a service that apparently ships you 'daily contact lenses', like it's a copy of these mail delivered razor blade companies or, I suppose, diapers.
But does anyone need a new set of contracts on a regular basis? What are these things, disposable?

I've never worn contacts so I may just be clueless, but there appears to be something here I'm not getting.

There are daily contacts now and ones that you clean nightly for two
weeks or so and then need replacing.

Seems odd to me that that could be a better/cheaper option than regular contacts which I assumed lasted for months? years?
I mean I assume these disposable types would be cheaper per set than more permanent ones, but in aggregate?

I've only worn the two-week ones (not a fan after a week) and the
daily ones. I wear glasses 70% of the time these days. Get my contacts
from Canada, gotta love Canada.

they make like, permanent ones that last a while and various others. I think the dailys are actually more expensive because they're meant to be disposable and you need like.. a lot of them.

My wife mostly wears glasses but she switched to daily contacts a while back because they aggravated her eyes less. I guess the idea is they have to be less sturdy/durable so they can make them a little thinner or something along those lines.

That's what I assumed. It never occurred to me that going through dozens of them a year, much less a new pair daily, would be a cost effective thing.
But I've never dealt with them so obviously I'm clueless here.
