I'm at the Houston game, and the lineup is similar to what we had on Monday, with the addition of Cabrera and the loss of Mazzilli and Rosario. Excited!

Some sprinkles here at the park.

Caught a batting practice homer!

Frank Viola was chatting while shagging flies. Said Wheeler is doing well and starting on Friday.

Great day so far!

The Randazzler is doing a nice job meshing with Keith and Ron.

yeah, I'd agree.

Some great baserunning by Grandy turns nothing into a run, as he tags and moves from 2nd to the 3rd on a lazy fly ball to the left fielder, and then scores from third when Walker gets caught in a rundown.

Gsellman got hit kinda hard, but only generous official scoring kept two of those hits from being errors.

Cabrera hit one that carried over the fence.

Nice work from the in-the-stadium correspondent. You still in the OF grass or move up to some seats? I was always an OF grass guy at ST games.

Bats battling back. Yoenis with an infield single, Jay Bruce followed with a moonshot bomb to right, and now a double by Jay Bruce Lite, Lucas Duda.

4-3 Sawx.

For the record, Tebow was late on a first-pitch fastball, looked bad chasing an 0-1 slider, but hung in the AB and bounced into a 4-6-3 to tie the game. He kinda looks crappy, but he put the bat on the ball.

Teeb-OW! hit by a pitchie, then doubled off first when L.J. lines out, and he tries to get back but fails to slide back into first.

I try not to worry too much about spring performances by relievers, particularly spot relievers, as they aren't spotted up in to high leverage situations like they are in the regular season. Also, they're not as nibbly. We'll see.

My Dad got the seats today, and snagged a pair four rows behind home plate. I'm not used to that kind of real estate, and the screen made it tough to take photos. But its so cool to hear the ball actually whistle as it comes in with some heat.

We got the Mets B- and C-team today, with Lagares, Cabrera, Wilmer and then a a bunch of guys with numbers in the 80s and 90s. Dominic Smith was probably the best prospect I saw today.

I don't think the Astros were doing the spilt squad thing, and they crushed us 12-2. Sean Gilmartin did not look that great. Rose boom gave up a bomb, but he's looked sharp in both games I've seen so far.

The new West Palm Beach ball park is nice. One big thing I don't like -- all of the first base side appears to be party boxes where the first 10 rows would be and the screen, in some form, goes all the way down the line. That makes it virtually impossible to get an autograph. (And I only really do that in the spring.)

Other than that, it's like a new minor league park with luxury boxes and so on. The parking is set up so you walk through the practice fields, which I've never seen before.

One cool feature -- out in front there are giant statues of the Nats and Astros cap logos. It's a nice touch.
