Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 2, 2017 Author Posted October 2, 2017 Addison Reed led the Mets in saves this year, the lowest total to lead the club since John Franco lead the Mets with only 10 saves in 1993.Jacob deGrom's 239 strikeouts in 2017 were the most by a Mets pitcher since David Cone had 241 in 1991.Jose Reyes led the club in at bats with 501, the lowest total to lead the team since Mike Cameron led with 493 in 2004.Asdrubal Cabrera led the Mets in hits with 134, the lowest total since Kaz Matsui with 125 in 2004.Cabrera and Reyes were the only Mets to have enough plate appearances to qualify for the batting title, and deGrom was the only pitcher with enough innings to qualify for the ERA title.
