Edgy MD Site Manager Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Last night was pretty much the exact opposite of some of the magical games from last August, wasn't it. Solid lead, red-hot top-flight starter on the mound, no way we could lose ... and suddenly there was no way we couldn't. It was like the B-side of the wins we had last August where we'd fall into a hole against a team throwing a top starter, and it seemed the ship was sunk, and damned if we didn't turn it around, seemingly night after night.I'm not one to speculate that it's some sort of cosmic payback, but I'm speculating that it's some sort of cosmic payback.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I don't know about payback, but it's certainly the bizarro-opposite of 2015. Seemingly everyday this summer you could ask what could possibly go wrong next and phwam you got your answer that very night or in the news the next morning.2016 Mets - Un-Amazing Again (until tonight, of course, when the SHaMs wake the fuck up!!)

Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I wish that were always true, on many levels.
