The good news: 12 hits (3 by Cespedes, 2 each Grandy & deAza) and were mostly off of the NYY 'A-list' hurlers: Severino, Chapman, Miller, Bettances (plus 3 total off whoever Olson & Moreno are).
But, in keeping with this spring's pattern, 10 of the 12 were singles.

Matz wound up going four innings and was fine except for the 5-spot in the 2nd. So other than that Mrs. Lincoln ...

I'm getting concerned about Matz. Has he had one decent performance this Spring?
When this stuff happens, it can be one of two things
1) He overthrowing, and his stuff is flattening out, or
2) He's tipping his pitches.

Both are correctable, but if this keeps up, he could spend the early part of the season in the minors.
