Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Do the right thing, Florida! Vote for non-Trump and then go out and support the Mets! Those selfsame Mets have just tied the score at 6-6 in the top of the eighth. Noah Syndergaard gave up two runs (one earned) in 3 2/3 innings. But Bastardo got tagged for three in his 2/3 of an inning of work. Travis d'Arnaud has driven in three, Roger Bernadina has two hits, and LJ Mazzilli has a hit and a run scored.Mets continue to be interestingly powerless this spring, with only one of their nine hits (a d'Arnaud double) going for extra bases
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 Mets score 2 in the 9th on no hits: Walk, Walk, Walk, WP, Sac Fly, to cap the heroic comeback win 8-6 ... and by heroic I mean not really heroic at all.8 NYM walks in all. 1 run driven in by walk, 1 by Wild Pitch, 3 by Sac Fly, and 3 on a bases-clearing 2B by d'ArnaudFamilia & Verrett finished up nicely after the line of hurlers preceding them were kinda sloppy.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted March 15, 2016 Author Posted March 15, 2016 The champion New York Mets lineup... relentlessly passive. And folks say Nimmo isn't a prospect. His bat will play here!
