Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Not too long ago, i was like the second most reliable reliever on the staff. I was getting eighth innings in close games! And then they got Clippard. And I was getting seventh innings. And then they got Reed. And I was getting... innings. But, you know, they were innings! Now, in the post-season, we've booted two of our starters to the bullpen, and that's just like getting two more experienced relievers to bump ol' Hansel down again. Dang.I don't know who I've got to give my heart to in order to get into a game again. An inning! An out! A batter! A pitch! Something, Terry!!And then I realize that I should be happy I'm not Erik Goeddel, who fell to the wrong side of the bubble, despite similar credentials. I will find my way back to viability again, for I am Hansel, and I have left a trail of crumbs.
