Do I remember a game or a few games when the apple was broken
in the upright position and someone hit it at Shea. I don't think it's been
hit much, but I could be (usually am) wrong.

It was broken on the day we celebrated our respective b'days at Citi Field. I remember you commented "It's broken due to lack of use"
