Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Just a few fun facts I've gleaned from Twitter:* This is the first time since the LCS started in 1969 that all 4 teams wear a blue cap.* None of MLB's top 9 payroll teams made the LCS. BlueJays highest at 10. Cubs 13th, Royals 16th, Mets 21st. Average rank: 15th.* The final four MLB teams have a combined 2 World Series appearances and zero championships over the past 20+ years* World Series title droughts, in years, of the four remaining playoff teams: 22, 29, 30, 107.

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I'm guessing the payroll ranking of all or most of those teams is a little off, and will be adjusted upwards once the final tally is made.
