And with trading competition for him likely, his two months of ABs -- which will come at the expense of someone because he's NOT an everyday SS -- aren't going to come cheap.

But he's not a Met � a strangely appealing quality for Met fans. And he has Maddon genes.The appeal of Zobrist is you can always stick him somewhere, depending on who is hurt and/or who is slumping.What to do if he's hurt or slumping... or finished... is another matter.Zobrist would end Don Zimmer's uninterrupted run lasting the entire history of the franchise as the last Met in alphabetical order. THAT has appeal.
